I was skeptical at first as I’ve never purchased a CaDa set and this set has left me amazed with how good it was! The build experience was amazing, the realism of the car looks unmatched and if you ask me better than Lego. I saw a review on here about the gearbox not working. I think they built it wrong as everything in mine works perfectly without fail. Amazing value for money and a great product with no missing pieces.

It's my fourth Cada Model and every time, i'm impressed about the great design of the Models. This Model is just WOW. What a great Design. Probs to the Designer Suhwan Ji. I love it.

The component quality was very good - this was my first foray into "non-lego" and I was very pleased with the quality. The instructions are at times quite hard to follow as the illustrations, particularly the parts lists, are so tiny.
There were a few design issues however. Most importantly, I discovered some way through that the gear connecting with the front differential was on the wrong side of the diff (incorrect design rather than me failing to follow the instructions - a fundamental error that should definitely have been picked up - hard to see how it wasn't) which meant that for all four wheels to turn the center diff just span freely and transferred no motion to the gearbox / engine.
The gearbox itself doesn't really work. It is possible that I didn't have it configured perfectly but there was nothing to indicate I hadn't and I studied the diagrams really closely as I was well aware this would be a) critical and b) very difficult to change later without a full rebuild. Some of the ratios seem to work but it's hard to see much change on the engine revs - most of the time it just binds and clicks - not really working.
As other's have pointed out, the exterior paneling is fiddly with some quite significant gaps and often not held tight enough (the rea spoiler especially is quite floppy and would have been easy enough to do a better job of design-wise.)
I have made several 1:8 size cars of my own design and with considerably more complexity than this set so I know how hard it can be to make everything work properly and how hard it can be to fix things that break way after the point it would be easy to repair.
All in all, a good set, very dense, quite pretty but just doesn't quite work which drops my score considerably.
