As the owner of the previous (unlicensed) version of this set, I was very much looking forward to this release. As with the other Initial D cars at this scale, the packaging feels very premium and the attention to detail is much appreciated.
The set is mostly similar to the previous release, but the addition of the popup function of the headlights is a very welcome feature.
Where this set lacks, is in the use of stickers. The used stickers are of low quality and feel very cheap. They‘re also applied over multiple pieces, which is not great. The included printed plaque shows that CaDA is capable of printing pieces in good quality, so I would really like to see the use of prints for the whole model instead of cheap stickers

It is actually a pretty cool set it has pretty cool features and details from the show in brick form it definitely a fun toy to build and funner with the motor brick pack definitely a must buy if your a huge fan of initial D or lego fan

Initial D fan must
If you are a fan of the anime Initial D, then this a must have set. I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since the series began, and this model’s detail does a great job of capturing the detail of the A86 from the series. Reasonable pricing made it an easy purchase and I recommend it.
