Audi Rs6 Avant

A very good build and the instructions was mostly very clear. I did unfortunately have a missing part in which I had to order from bricklink as the online replacements service wasn’t very good.
With the build the colours of the car was 2 different types so I had to polish the matte finish to match the rest of the car and also I felt a few steps in building the car could of been done a bit differently like putting the doors on before the roof maybe. Overall a very good build and can’t wait for the next Cada build.

Truly a Master Build!

CaDA Master Audi RS6 Avant — Final Build and Review

After five boxes, two instruction books, 20 building sessions and roughly 30 hours at my workbench, the CaDA Master Audi RS6 Avant is complete.

At 4,663 pieces and more than 60 centimeters long, this officially licensed 1:8-scale model is substantial in every sense. It is a large, complex build with an impressive amount of engineering hidden beneath that deep-blue bodywork.

THE BUILD

The early stages concentrate on the chassis, drivetrain, suspension, transmission and detailed V8 engine. From there, the tan interior and dashboard begin to give the model its personality before the exterior gradually transforms the mechanical framework into the unmistakable Audi RS6 Avant.

The complexity increases as the build progresses. Many of the later body sections are constructed as intricate subassemblies before being attached to the car. The engineering in the rear body panels was especially impressive and helped me understand why CaDA places this set in its Master Series.

This is not a build to rush. It rewards patience, careful alignment and regular checks to make certain the mechanical functions continue to operate correctly as more of the bodywork is added.

THE ENGINEERING

There is a tremendous amount of functional engineering packed beneath the exterior.

The drivetrain, transmission, steering, suspension and detailed engine are all incorporated into the finished model. The ride height can be adjusted, the drivetrain carries motion through the car, and the mechanical elements remain visible enough during construction to appreciate how everything works together.

The rear tailgate, hood and all four doors open and close well. The hood and tailgate incorporate carefully designed supports and springs that hold them securely when open. When closed, those same mechanisms pull the surrounding pieces back into their proper alignment. It is an elegant solution that provides both function and clean body lines.

The finished body captures the long roofline, wide stance and muscular character of the real RS6 Avant extremely well. The front grille, lighting, wheel arches, rear lighting, exhaust outlets and roof rails all contribute to a model that is immediately recognizable.

THE INSTRUCTIONS

The two large instruction books are beautifully produced. The printing is sharp, the diagrams are generally clear, and the red arrows are helpful in showing how pieces should be oriented and where they need to go. The books themselves are substantial enough to be collectible if that is your vibe.

However, I wish CaDA would produce electronic instructions as other manufacturers have done.

As an older builder, my eyes sometimes have difficulty distinguishing dark blue from black or identifying an axle-ended connection versus a peg-ended piece in a printed diagram. I needed to pull out my magnifying lamp far too often.

Electronic instructions would allow builders to enlarge difficult areas, improve contrast and more easily examine complicated connections. For a set this complex—and at this price point—I believe a high-quality digital version should be part of the package.

THE PARTS

The overall quality of the parts was very good. Connections were secure, the pieces felt consistent, and the finished structure became remarkably solid as the major sections were tied together.

The deep-blue body color looks especially good in person. CaDA also deserves considerable credit for using printed elements instead of stickers. The Audi emblems, RS badging and other exterior details look clean and should hold up much better over time.

The specialized panels and curved pieces allow the model to reproduce shapes that would be difficult to achieve with standard components alone. They are especially effective around the wheel arches, front fascia, hood and rear quarters.

FINAL THOUGHTS

This build confirmed why I enjoy large-scale CaDA models.

They are intricate, challenging and tremendously satisfying when each mechanical system comes together and works as intended. The Audi demands attention throughout the build, but the result justifies the effort.

For me the final model will be more of static display piece. It is a detailed mechanical model, an engineering exercise and an impressive interpretation of one of Audi’s most distinctive performance cars.

It took me approximately 30 hours spread across 20 sessions. That pace allowed me to enjoy the process, check the functions along the way and appreciate the engineering before it disappeared beneath the finished bodywork.

The completed Audi RS6 Avant has real presence. It is large, heavy, detailed and unmistakably a Master Series build.

For experienced builders who enjoy automotive engineering and are looking for something more involved than a simple display model, this one is easy to recommend.

A True Master Series Build - Worth Every Piece

This CaDA Master Series Audi RS6 Avant is probably one of the most impressive brick-built cars I have ever assembled. The 4663 pieces create an amazing level of detail, from the realistic interior to the premium printed parts. No stickers, beautiful finish, and the final display model looks fantastic on my shelf. The 1:8 scale makes it feel like a real super wagon sitting in my collection.

Incredible Details on This 1:8 Scale Audi Replica

I bought this Audi RS6 Avant model as a gift for myself, and it exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail is unbelievable. The interior, wheels, suspension system, and engine bay are beautifully designed. The officially licensed Audi design makes it even more special. This is definitely one of the best building block car models available for serious collectors.

CaDA Nailed the RS6 Avant Design

As an Audi fan, I was waiting for a high-quality RS6 Avant brick model, and CaDA delivered. The iconic wagon silhouette, realistic proportions, and premium building experience are outstanding. I especially love the working features and the fact that the model looks amazing both during the build and after completion. It is a perfect combination of engineering, creativity, and automotive passion.

No doubt - The Best 1:8 set of 2026

CaDA scores once again. This beast car is something new and very stylish, the first wagon/combi car in my collection and I love it. Beatiful color chosen, many special features like 8-speed gearbox, openable doors/hood/trunk, indivudual suspension on every wheel, adjustable seats and suspension and many more. This is also maybe the first car tht preserves details like beige carpets in the car.

Audi RS6 Avant - 2026 Flagship CaDFI Master Series model

As someone who has built more than 20 different CadFI Master Series vehicles/brick sets, I have had an appreciation for Cada for a long time. I believe it started off with the Italian Supercar (Ferrari 488 Pista), and I am consistently impressed with the increases in total product quality. This includes the parts, building techniques, manuals, boxes, and licensing that go into producing a set. Note: This is my unbiased review as a huge Cada fan and unofficial reseller in the US.

I wasdrawn to this model immediately as this is a car I have driven and a close friend of mine has in his garage., but his is anunique OEM purple shade sadly. However, I love the dark blue and tan color combination. It was an excellent choice for this car and differentiates in color from other 1:8 flagship sets.

I have built every model, except for the AMG GT3, and I love that this set has added more art to the manual. I do wish that the dark blue was a little brighter in print to help differentiate from the black parts in bad lighting, but in good lighting there's no issue.

The interior is a huge upgrade from past models. The level of detail is incredible and the new design and techniques made this an original and enjoyable build process. Building an functional 8 speed gear box is always a fun challenge as well, and I really like this mechanism for shifting gears. It's easy to access and feels smooth.

The exterior is stunning. The roof looks a little underwhelming compared to the rest of the car but the techniques used to get such a smooth curve were brilliant and engaging.

Some great upgrades to exterior printed parts and the front end is a masterpiece.

One thing I wish was added: Lights

Not every model needs to be motorized, and I actually think the non RC models are better since they leave room for detail and lower the cost. However, I think it's time to develop a small rechargeable battery that can just be used for exterior and interior lighting. QR code with a video on light installation perhaps rather than try and show where the wires need to be during each step.

Great job!

great build! I usually build Lego Technics super

great build! I usually build Lego Technics super cars but they are few and far between for the 4000 piece builds. I am about half through the Audi build and so far I am impressed. This build is more challenging. You really have to pay attention! I had to go back a couple times to fix something I missed but all in all no missing parts so far and pieces go together nicely. Better yet is the pricing per piece! A great savings
