I’ve built a lot of modular-style sets, but this one really stands out. The design is very different from the typical city buildings, and it adds a nice cultural touch to my collection. The mix of modern and traditional details is spot on. Definitely recommend for collectors who want something unique.

I absolutely love this set! The traditional Japanese architecture is captured so well – from the lanterns to the sliding-style doors. It was a fun build with lots of little details, and now it looks amazing. Perfect!

A beautiful and original set

On October 30th, 2025, I bought this product and another Japanese set for the last Christmas. They use the worst shipping company, and we never received those. We live in Canada; if you live in Canada, don't expect that you will get them.
My partner had ordered another Cada product several days before I ordered from Cada, but he never received the product either.
I sent a message to ask for support, then Cada's customer support suggested reaching out to the shipping company, so I did, but the shipping company never got back to me. I also asked Cada to refund, and Cada never got back to me after I asked for a refund.
I was a fan of their product. I am so sad this thing happened. If they change the shipping company and improve customer service, I would like to order again.

Very good quality and nice building experince

CaDa continues its series of Japanese restaurants. This izakaya is beautiful and full of detail. It's a great addition to the themed display. I can't wait to complete the new releases.

First of all, I'm very happy that CaDA has this awesome series of beautiful Japanese buildings. This is pretty unique and I have all sets of this series and I can't wait to see what comes next.

So, about this building: Compared to the previous set (the Sento) it was much more fun to built. This time, no "prohibited" techniques where used. I had a pretty relaxed time, with exception of the small black roofs on the side. Building these was a nightmare and very frustrating. Like in all previous sets, I love the design. But there are two big downer for me.

First, the lighting system. The integration is annoing; the result only looks really good in pictures, and the light cannot be switched on automatically via smart power plugs.

Second: there are no prints, only stickers. I don't like that! Same arguments as for the lighting system: adding stickers just sucks, and the results never looks as good as on the pictures. At least the stickers have pretty high quality. But I would still prefere to pay more money to get prints.

Last but not least, the building instruction is great and easy to follow and box has adecent quality. There's nothing to complain about.

Overall, a good set. The price is okay, but it would be much more acceptable if CaDA would leave out the lighting system and replace the stickers with prints instead.
