Great fun to build, excellent quality

If you're an Initial D fan, don't waste any time and get this now. This is a lovely rendition of Keisuke Takahashi's yellow RX-7, with great design and very fun to build. Unlike other "speed champion" cars, this one doesn't have a pre-assembled chassis piece, which means more fun for you to build the entire thing. Also, this features an opening hood that reveals the engine, and also an opening "trunk" where you can store the spare parts for the pop-up headlights (which you can assemble being up or down). I do have to mention one shortfall though, which is the lack of a Keisuke minifigure.

Really fun build with a focus on brick-built features

I really enjoyed this build. This is the second CaDA Initial D 1:24 set I have built, the other being the AE86, and they both share some interesting features I appreciate. One, there's a strong focus on modularity in the design process, with multiple assemblies that need to be constructed and then attached. It made for a fun and sometimes challenging build. Also, nearly every design feature is brick-built, rather than depending on stickers. Stickers were minimal and used only to enhance small features... the license plate and, in this case, the Red Suns logo on the quarter panels. Definitely recommended for Initial D fans. On the bricks side, quality was excellent, and there were no missing pieces. The manual was printed on quality paper, easy to follow. As well, I ordered directly from the CaDA website and had no issues in shipping, delivery, or tracking. A good experience all around.

Initial-D!

Great build. Better than some Speed Champions builds.

Solid Reproduction.

Fun construction. Not as many interesting techniques used as in the FC3S or AE86, but an enjoyable car once all said and done.

Only major downsides are the use of stickers across multiple bricks, and not being quite minifigure friendly. Neither are deal breakers, though.

Perfect!

Nothing bad to say it was nice and fun to build and quality was good too.
