If you're an Initial D fan, don't waste any time and get this now. This is a lovely rendition of Keisuke Takahashi's yellow RX-7, with great design and very fun to build. Unlike other "speed champion" cars, this one doesn't have a pre-assembled chassis piece, which means more fun for you to build the entire thing. Also, this features an opening hood that reveals the engine, and also an opening "trunk" where you can store the spare parts for the pop-up headlights (which you can assemble being up or down). I do have to mention one shortfall though, which is the lack of a Keisuke minifigure.
This looks probably the best out of 3 1:24 models
love initial d. love lego. lego doesnt have initial d stuff. cada does. simple as. bought the FC and 86 as well. gonna buy the tofu shop and large scale 86 sometime.
Bought all three of these and yep, they're all fine.
This one's probably my favorite look-wise.
Great Car. I really like the engine compared to the other two
Great build. Better than some Speed Champions builds.
Fun construction. Not as many interesting techniques used as in the FC3S or AE86, but an enjoyable car once all said and done.
Only major downsides are the use of stickers across multiple bricks, and not being quite minifigure friendly. Neither are deal breakers, though.
Nothing bad to say it was nice and fun to build and quality was good too.
