Great model let down by the poor quality of the stickers. Some of the smaller ones are oversize and need trimming after application, some others cover multiple panels when they don't need to as the logo/wording is confined to one panel and the rest that covers a secondary panel is entirely transparent. The worst offenders are the solid white stickers that are applied to black panels - They appear grey after application because of the poor quality of the stickers (See front wing endplate in picture).
Worth 100% of its price, the quality is great, was really interesting to build!
The looks are incredible ( especially comparing to Lego F1 models).
1st set from Cada. Impressive set. Impressive packaging. Sit quite nicely at my work / trading desk. Love building it (though a little challenging), and love looking at it when I need to relax my eyes from the monitors. The model is very detailed. Even have underbody aerodynamic to the chassis. And compare to the current Lego McLaren & Mercedes F1 set, this Alpha Romeo set is much more detailed. And less see thru gaps as well. Just the printed tires and rims and proper tire width for the front (narrow) and back (wide) of the model already is very impressive and put the 2 Lego F1 sets to shame. Building the set is a bit challenging, not for beginners. I’ll be looking to get more sets from Cada in the future.
Overall very nice build. Good instructions and overall box the parts came in was very nice!
Loved this set. Accurately represents the main details of the real car, the floor is also extremely well detailed. Great packaging and building experience
Just getting going but very impressed with the initial packaging, instructions and overall quality! Looking forward to the build!
This was my first CaDA set. First of all, it's beautiful once completed. Love the tires/wheels and the overall look and details. No missing parts and part quality was very good.
Some stickers didn't fit well, specially on parts like the white piece at the very tip of the nose. I had to trim several of them. I also didn't like stickers spanning multiple parts. All the lettering appears grey, not white.
Putting together the front suspension was challenging as what you build doesn't exactly match the instructions. Also, getting the wheels on was a challenge - they kept coming off. I still couldn't get one of the front wheels on correctly.
The underside seems a bit fragile to me. In general, one has to be very careful when picking up the car.
Having said all that, I'll probably other CaDA sets. You get a lot for your money.
Easily the best F1 set we have at the moment made from lego like bricks. Sadly the quality of the stickers really tries to ruin the asthetics as the colors are way too faded when applying the stickers. The white comes out to a more pink ish color and only the red on white looks good. Other than that besides some 10+ missing or incorrect pieces I have nothing to complain. Although the thing with the part quality control is inexcusable and was often frustrating.
