Another awesome brick build from Cada Master. Typixally, I would not buy something in this price range, but it was 40% off, and at $350, that was worth it! Acouple things on the build are wonky, the driver ladder likes to fall off as there are no lonking pieces to keep it in place. And, the end of the extruder falls off easily as it is only connected on a 2-dot piece. Other than that, it was a great build and a great value at $350.
This is the 2nd Licensed model kit from CADA. First one was Mercedes AMG One and both of these were of the highest quality in parts, design and instructions. I loved that this was not just 'another car' but something that is bound to peak attention when guests come over. This is built like a tank, very sturdy and easy to move around where no parts fall off. The wiring instructions are excellent and the battery location is perfect for access and charging (no need to turn the model upside down, as with other models.) I am a huge fan of CADA models, just hope they add more remote control models in 2025.
beautiful set with attention to detail and at times also very demanding, it's a shame there isn't the possibility of also having a corn header. congratulations to the creators
+ Beautyfull and detailed repilca of the original Dominator.
+ Nice funtionality, packed into as little space as possible.
+ Everything works like it's intended to do.
+ Great manual with quality appeal.
+ Very good part quality with nice prints.
o Technic-construction misses some finess and could be more complex.
- Only 3 from 8 building steps contain serious technic-building, the rest is more or less building the chassis, the grain header and the carrier for this. At the end the building process is a little bit boring because it lacks some kind of variation. Would have arranged it in another way.
Just finished my CLAAS Dominator 370 and this model is amazing!!!!! Woow! Eric, you did an amazing Job!!!!! I also made some minor improvements and added LED lightning 👍👍😍😍😉
It’s a piece of art. It has a lot of functions and mixes perfectly between normal and technic “lego” bricks. That way you have the best of both worlds: incredible mechanics and the best looking set I ever built. It has more than 4000 bricks so it tooks several hour to a very fun and delightful built.
I bought this item thinking it would be a good addition to my collections. however I was very disappointed in the quality and consistency of the components. the frames are a pain to put together, some if the bricks are loose when connected, when assembled bits just keep falling off. the most annoying part of this set is the amount of parts left over, which entailed me going back to the beginning several times to make sure I hadn't missed a step. I still had the same amount of parts left over. It is bad enough having parts missing but far more frustrating to have parts left over and you doubting yourself as to whether you had got it wrong. so either the packing was wrong or the manual is. Sadly for me I doubt I will buy another product from Cada
This is an amazing set like all the other sets I've purchased from CaDa and I already have my eye on several other sets in the collection
It's very nice in a looks and gameplay perspective. But in the building part - well, at least as a lego fan, I am so used to the lego instructions layout and for the first 100 steps it felt like it was going to be hard just in the following instructions part. Then I got used to it, and it was actually decent. Up until the decorations part, where you built the design of the combine. I did not like the attaching a thick bar piece into a wobbly one (I have no idea how to call it). I also was not very happy about the header part where it sucks in the wheat. The wobbly piece slips out of the part where you attach it so easily, I just modified it a little so that it wouldn't slip out as easily. One final "not very satisfied" problem - not a fan of the way you make some bigger pieces - it just doesn't go in you think it is going to. But other than that, it is very nice. Love the design of it, and the functions as well. Also a new experience as a lego exclusive buyer. Definetly worth it.
I've built several "Technic" sets, and this is the best I've built since the Lego 42054 Claas Xerion. Maybe better than the Lego 42082 crane. Many cool functions. I haven't tried the app and probably won't, but the remotes work just fine. One has to pay close attention when building but the instructions are adequate. A great build.
I recently wrote a review that commended the CLAAS Dominator but was disappointed with CaDA support in not delivering a timely replacement of a faulty battery box. Now I am pleased to say that this week, after 3 months and multiple emails, I received a new battery box, replaced the faulty box, and all functions are working.
From my experience with Support you need to be respectful, patient and persistent.
I also had an issue with a missing bag of parts when building the Kick Sauber but again Support did supply the missing components. However they insisted they couldn’t replace the bag directly and I had to work through the manual to identify each component and number and order them through the missing parts option on the home page. The bonus was that they sent me two sets!
Challenging building experience. It took me a few days and had to rebuild a few elements, but it turned out great. The app to control it is great too and works well. Unfortunately my box didn't contain the stickers, although as I looked the stickers are mainly for the cabling, the instructions books still made it clear and I had no issues with it in the end. My set also was missing a piece of the cabin which was luckily just az exterior piece but again that doesn't change the fact that this set is truly amazing and inspiring. I would buy another set again.
From my point of view it's the best set ever. Period. This time Eric Trax designed total masterpiece. Everything works great.
The only thing dissapointing is the use of new connectors (aka 'transparent plugs') instead of lego 2x2. No easy upgrades for now.
@Martin: what lights did You use? CaDa ? Custom? (If custom, where did You get those new transparent connectors).
It was a fun build that you get the best of both worlds. I enjoyed it a lot. Only downside was the several non technic parts did not secure well to the structure.
Hello
Sorry, I can't comment since I haven't started the assembly yet. However, my first impression is very favorable regarding the quality of the packaging and the speed of delivery. Kind regards.
5s for idea
Schönes Modell. Problemlose Lieferung.
This is set from my dreams
A GREAT model! Maybe one the best i built for years. This is the perfect mix between the technic and the icons models of the danish bricks.
i am only disappointed with the android app, which some of the fonctions don't work. but with my old Ipad all is ok..
Like some others, i am going to add lights and maybe change the front wheels (i don't really like them..)
thks Eric !!
CaDA CLAAS Dominator 370 C61508W
This is by far the most beautiful RC harvester model set produced in history of toy brick building.
I've been waiting for this beauty for quite a while, but now it is finally here.
All these functions in a very realistic looking model, again one from Eric Trax, a builder with very good design skills, one of the best.
Only thing that I don't like on the model is the opening of the white hatch on top, it doesn't open wide enough, but the rest off the model is mind blowing.
This set is incredible, I recommend it 100%
I dream about this all my life :)
Very complex and smoothly working set with a lot of details. Two ways of controlling 7 motors / 2 hubs - physical controller and CaDA Bot smartphone app. Internally it's a completely technical set with a lot of moving parts and gears. Everything is packed into a realistically looking body made out of classic bricks.
