Overall, a great set with great functions and awesome quality. Finally, a set that makes you think and pay attention to instructions when building. I was really impressed with the quality of parts.

On the first place I want to say that it's a beautifull set. Well thought, giving a lot of fun for nearly 8 hours.
The only problem is the RC system. Only two elements are working properly, but even after deconstructing and building obce note, the problem isn't solved.
I still believe that in a short time I'll be able to use all the possibilities and then think about purchasing a next set.

In my opinion this is best looking excavator set available. Few hours of real joy.

This is a very nice and playable set.

Hi, this is a great model and I'm having fun putting it together. But I'm having trouble with the tracks moving. Whenever I try to move them in opposite directions (that is, turn the excavator on its own axis), the engine function change lever ends up being moved and releases the gears, causing the tracks to stop. I would like to know if this is a known issue and how to resolve it. Thank you very much.

Super fun build, loved the incredibly easy motorization. Works great with or without, but definitely recommend getting it motorized!

Set is excellent overall. One improvement area is the clutch piece JM00540001 which another reviewer has already mentioned. It is too easily "stripped" when engaged to drive the heavy tracks. I used the red clutch piece as
JM00440001 as a replacement, but perhaps the designers can relook at how to reduce the friction in the tracks. Still, an excellent model, had lots of fun building it.

This was a very fun build, seeing the multiple gears come together to create a multi-functional unit. I felt like I was learning an engineering lesson while putting it together - instructions very clear for each step. The Power Function is a must-have, otherwise the motions are much slower to engage by hand. Unfortunately, after running it for just a few minutes, some of the functions stopped working. I eventually identified that the clutch piece (JM00540001 per manual) were of bad quality and had broken. If this piece is replaced though, everything works well! Overall a highly recommended set.
